He used to be the technician, planner, director of the chief engineer office of Harbin Steam Turbine Plant, executive deputy general manager of Harbin Power Plant Equipment Group Corporation, and general manager of Shenzhen Zhongji Industrial Development Center of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 1983, he was jointly appointed by the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Machinery as the project general manager of the No. 4 unit (210MW) of the Gudu Power Station in Pakistan, the first large-scale thermal power project in China to be exported abroad by trade. The successful completion of the project ahead of schedule has opened a new page for China to successfully enter the international large-scale power general contracting market. He has rich experience in power station project development, contract negotiation, and project execution management. He has led the bidding and construction of many large-scale power station projects, and enjoys high prestige in the field of power construction at home and abroad.
